Hamish has over 40 years of experience practising as a family lawyer and was one of the first lawyers within the jurisdiction to be appointed as an accredited specialist in family law. Hamish was among the first family lawyers to be appointed to the panel of Independent Children’s Lawyers and has assisted in the training and professional development of lawyers appointed to the panel.

Hamish founded Hamish Cumming Family Lawyers almost 20 years ago. He has extensive knowledge and expertise in all areas of family law including complex property and parenting proceedings.
